Mohamed Sabry Soliman has pleaded guilty to federal hate crime charges over a firebombing attack on a group of demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado.
Prosecutors said he threw firebombs at a weekly march supporting the release of Israeli hostages in June 2025, injuring twelve people. An 82-year-old woman died from her injuries weeks after the attack.
Soliman had already pleaded guilty to state charges earlier this year and is serving a life sentence in prison. Prosecutors are now seeking life plus fifty more years on the federal charges.
He is due to be sentenced in January.
