Trump rallies for Republicans as Democrats make closing arguments with hours to go before US midterm elections
With hours to go before Americans vote in the midterm elections, President Trump has been rallying for Republican candidates while Democrats make their closing arguments to voters.
President Donald Trump has been rallying for Republican candidates in the final hours before the United States midterm elections, urging supporters to turn out and back his party.
Democrats, meanwhile, have been making their closing arguments, presenting their case to voters as the campaign draws to a close.
The elections will decide which party controls Congress for the remainder of the president's term, making turnout in these final hours decisive.
Both parties have spent the closing days of the campaign pressing their messages on the economy, the cost of living and the direction of the country.
