About Us

Viral News (viralnews.pro) is an independent, digital-first news website. Our job is simple: take the biggest world and sport stories of the day and explain them clearly, in minutes, in our own words.

What we publish

We publish short, original news explainers — what happened, why it matters, and what is likely to happen next. Every story on this site is written by our own desk from publicly reported facts, and the original reporting source is credited at the end of each article.

Most stories also have a short companion video on our Facebook Page, Viral Latest News, and articles link to that video so readers can watch as well as read.

How we work

Original wording, always. We never copy articles from other publishers. Facts are gathered from reputable reporting, then summarised and explained in our own language.

Images. Photographs on this site are representative images used to illustrate a story, and they are labelled as such. They are not presented as pictures of the actual event unless the caption says so.

Corrections. News moves fast and early reports are sometimes wrong. When a story changes materially, we update the article. If you spot an error, please tell us via our Contact page and we will review it promptly.

Opinion. Viral News reports news. We do not publish political opinion or endorsements, and we do not accept payment to publish, change, or remove a story.

Who runs Viral News

Viral News is run by a small independent editorial team (the "Viral News Desk") publishing in English for a worldwide audience. The site is funded by advertising displayed on its pages.
